Biography
Gina Brooks has a Bachelors in Education/Special Education from Slippery Rock University, with 10 years experience working with at risk youth. She joined the violence prevention team in December 2014, to coordinate the homicide review component covering Allegheny County and City of Pittsburgh homicides. Gina identifies key stakeholders to involve in the homicide review process, assesses the role of social media in contributing to violence, conducts training on violence prevention, and coordinates the dissemination of violence prevetion information and dialogues with communities.
